Boatshed Cornwall are delighted to have the opportunity to market this Wingerden. This yacht is of ferrocement built in the late 70's by a professional Dutch boatbuilder.
The first experience of this yacht was via a short trip in the tender to the mooring. Once onboard it reveals itself to be a spacious yet unique layout, that is well thought through and has ample accommodation for a family to live comfortably onboard.
It seems this yacht has been maintained and much has been spent on the functional aspects including a complete new rig in 2012. There is also a new engine available too, which will be included in the sale.
The down side to this yacht is the exterior deck area which does need some work to clean and refresh the paint system and teak decking where fitted. There is also some slight damage to the stern it would seem. Otherwise, it appears clean and tidy.
If you are looking for a versatile sailing yacht with the feel of “go anywhere” subject to the usual safety aspects etc, then this will provide a great option.
