Broker's Comments
The Vancouver 28 is an uncompromisingly cruising-orientated design, with no concessions to racing or modern fashion. 'Yachting Monthly' describe the design as having "....perfect manners and easy long-legged handling" and "....she will keep going comfortably when lighter yachts are looking for shelter". The heavy-displacement long keel hull is very solidly built, and the hull form copes well with added weight for stores for long passages.
This boat was bought new from the builders in 2007 by the current owner and reportedly has less than 100 hours use. The general condition can only be described as nearly new and when you consider that the package including the large amount of added extras cost just shy of £130,000 only six years ago this represents a bargain.
Being sold due to lack of use, if you are in the market for a Vancouver 28 I cannot imagine a better deal than this. She is beautifully presented throughout and ready to go anywhere.
