Broker's Comments
This is a lovely traditionally built 27 foot Bermudan Sloop built by Tucker and Brown in 1952. The current owners have cared for her for many years and she underwent a significant re-fit at the Mylor Boatyard in 2006 when a new engine was fitted. Over the past few years the upkeep has become too much of a burden for the current owners and therefore they have now decided to sell.
Some work is necessary to bring this boat back to a sailaway state - A recent survey, undertaken in March, identifies in detail the current state of the boat and the work needed - The owner has agreed to share the information in this survey with any prospective purchasers so they can fully assess the work needed.
Interestingly, the current owner still has a full set of the original plans which will assist with any refurbishment work necessary.
