A brand new engine will be purchased as part of the sale. This will allow the maximum warranty period, (likely 7 years) to be available for the new owner. The proposed engine replacement is a 4HP Tohatsu Sail Pro with 6 amp 12v charging output.
Her electrics were completely rewired during refit.

The sails have all been cleaned and serviced annually and repaired as needed and are all in good order.
Although the standing rigging is of an unknown age, the rigging was inspected by a local rigger and found to be serviceable. The exception was the fore stay which was replaced and the furling gear fully overhauled at the same time.
All running rigging has also recently been replaced.
The mast is fitted with stainless steel folding mast steps to the spreaders.
A 'Tiller Tamer' further assisting single handed sailing is also fitted.

The original gel coat is in good condition, however it did have a few scuffs and scratches which one would expect on a boat of this age. These has been faired and the hull was then resprayed in pure white 2K system. New decals were then added.
A fresh water tank with external deck filler was installed in the cockpit locker in 2016.

The accommodation was carefully thought out during the refit and now comprises;
Fore cabin with double berth
Galley with 2 burner cooker to port with fold down lid which can provide privacy for the forward berth or act as a chart table when lowered. Opposite, to starboard, is a SMEV S/S sink with 12v pumped fresh water (not pressurised), toughened glass fold down lid with small locker underneath. Above the sink is a 240v microwave powered by a Silverline 1000w 12/240v inverter.
Aft of the galley area is the saloon with 2 single berths.
The chemical Porta Potti WC was relocated under the companionway and is hidden by a folding step which also makes for a safer entry into the interior.
Additional Soft furnishings, ie head and carpet linings have been added to provide extra insulation and give a more cosy feel to the interior.

Broker's Comments
New reduced price.
This Jaguar 21 has gone through a major refit during her previous 5 years of ownership and is therefore now immaculately presented both inside and out, with much thought given to the use of the internal volume to provide spacious accommodation.
In 2015 the forestay was replaced and the Seldon 100S furler gear was completely rebuilt
Externally, in 2016, her hull underwent a complete refurbishment and was finished off with a pure white 2K paint system sprayed over a basecoat. New decals were also applied. During this refit period she was also fitted with a new spray hood, dodgers and stack pack system.
This small yacht has been refitted, refurbished and maintained to a high a standard both for ease of use and single handed sailing by the previous owner, himself a certified engineer. A storage cradle is also included
This little yacht with a brand new engine, can be described as a turn key boat having been anti fouled and polished .
