Broker's Comments

The Cornish Shrimper 19 has been shown to be the Crabbers most popular model. With its classic lines and build quality, which has produced a reputation as the great British Gaffer of all time, with over 1100 Cornish Shrimpers made since 1979, and many of these original boats being sailed all over the world.

With a draft of 1.22m and with the keel up she can go almost anywhere and also easily take the ground. Launching and retrieval has been known to be easy from a single axle trailer with the pivoting bowsprit arrangement, making mast lifting smooth. This version also has an inboard diesel engine, which sets this Shrimper apart from other trailer sailors.

With a larger cockpit than most boats this size, sailing these boats has been described as a delight. The accommodation offers 2 berths in one cabin with stowage beneath. With a galley/storage area with single burner portable gas stove and fold away table.
