Broker's Comments

For the past few years this Freedom 40 has been undergoing a major refurbishment programme including a new engine, mast removal & repairs, new running rigging and new electrical wiring. Due to the owner’s circumstances changing, this yacht is now reluctantly offered for sale. Although she is seaworthy and can be sailed/used, in order to make her fully live-aboard again there are still several jobs to do (such as connecting the H/C water system pipework, galley sink waste, and replacing the refrigeration plates).

The hull and deck were constructed by Freedom Yachts, and the interior designed and fitted out in teak by the current owner’s father. The design makes the maximum use of available space with many clever features – as a result she feels very spacious and can sleep 10. Great accomodation as a liveaboard.
