Broker's Comments

The Atlantic Clipper 36 was designed by Maurice Griffiths and built by Philipps & Sons of Dartmouth in an era when accounts didn't get involved in the design or build of a yacht, they left it to the professionals!!
This boat is a rugged blue water cruising boat which is ideal for single handed sailing or looking after a family crew. She is easy to sail and can achieve speeds in excess of 8 knots under full power but will happily cruise under motor at 6.5 - 7 knots.
She has had a complete refurbishment over the last 2 years which includes an engine overhaul. She has only done 50 hours since.
The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The heads with a shower are forward. The main saloon has 2 settee berths around a cabin table, the port berth converts into a double. Starboard there's a quarter-berth with navigation station alongside. The good sized galley is opposite. Outside the cockpit is large and well protected with a cockpit tent offering protection in adverse weather conditions. The stern cabin has a large double berth.
This is a boat which has attracted a lot of positive comments and is greatly admired. She is a yacht that stands out from the crowd. Stock her up and sail for the sun.
