Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are pleased to offer this 38ft Dutch Barge for sale with London residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16.

This cosy barge is a very affordable option to get into London's most desirable liveaboard marina. With mooring fees far lower than the other marinas in this part of London, this is the last affordable place to live on a boat and demand is increasing as a result.

The hull was overplated in 2020 so it can be bought with a certain amount of peace and mind that there are no expensive works coming up soon. There is also a survey report available from 2020.

The main living area is filled with light thanks to the large windows. The cabin and seating area have restricted headroom, common in Dutch Barges of this design, so anyone looking for lots of headroom in their cabin should look elsewhere.

This barge is sold with a transferable residential mooring. Current mooring fees are £5,800 per annum approx. There is NO transfer fee on this sale representing a significant saving.

These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

Hi - can I check how the boat is heated please. I see the boiler which I presume is for the shower and hot water. In terms of electric and water I take it this is taken care off by the monthly mooring fees.
Thanks,
Mark
